Mrs. Orn-A-Nong Witchucharn, Group Chief Financial Officer and Ms. Ratinan Wongwatcharanon, Head of Corporate Communication and Sustainability of Thai Wah Public Company Limited (TWPC) which is the manufacturer and exporter of tapioca starch and market leader in vermicelli products and rice noodles, represented agricultural sector in the seminar "ESG Materiality: key factors under ESG of each business sector". The purpose of this seminar is encouraging the understanding of materiality analysis according to the sustainability development (ESG) of each business sector. The audiences are the relevant person in capital market as a preparation for professional investment advice and analysis.
Currently, ESG analysis is becoming a crucial part of investment analysis because it is a risk driver in the future. "Investors are not only focusing on financial data of the company anymore, but also consider sustainability factors to better understand about the company they are going to invest in." The seminar was held through an online platform, organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) recently.
